Help Rmeich Lebanon

Rmeich Lebanon
We would like to shed light on the reality of the suffering of people on the bordering areas with Israel, specifically in the Christian towns, as a result of the ongoing military conflict in southern Lebanon and the exchange of shells on the Lebanese border, especially in our town of Rmeish and its outskirts. People's lives have been greatly affected by security incidents and armed conflicts, and they have become burdened with anxiety, tension, and instability, which has prompted about 6000 of them to leave their homes for safe places in Beirut, where they do not have the minimum necessities of living, including housing, food, and medicine. In addition, the families that have hosted the displaced are also in financial difficulty, struggling to meet their own families’ needs, and large expenses. As for those who remain in their villages, they are exposed to a shortage of basic supplies such as water, electricity, and food. Our town, Rmeish, lives in complete darkness at night, especially under these difficult security conditions, particularly since Lebanon’s electricity only covers about four hours a day.
When we talk about the current situation, we find that the negative effects have clearly been revealed on the lives of the residents of this region, as people today live without work, which threatens the sustainability of their lives and leaves families without stability and security. People live in a state of constant fear and loss of hope due to threats to their lives and property and hesitate to carry out their daily activities freely due to threatened safety, and therefore they are in urgent need of support and assistance. The current events are devastating to people's lives and our entire society, as they affect many aspects of daily life and leave long-term effects. We urgently call on you to provide hope to the suffering people. I would like to point out people's concerns and fear of being displaced from their land, especially if the war lasts for a long time, and thus the necessity of neutralizing our villages to enable people to stay and the displaced to return. We also ask to pay special attention to these support the families.
We thank you in advance for your attention to this urgent issue.
