Please help my grandparents rebuild their home .

Hi my name is Molecia Seasay (formerly George) and I'm pleading for donations to help support us with the costs of repairing my grandparents home after a recent category 4 hurricane on Monday 1st July 2024 destroyed their house in Questelles, Saint Vincent and The Grenadines.

Their roof was blown off by 130mph winds and with more stormy weather expected in the coming days, all the bedrooms are exposed to the elements and no access to the bathroom makes things more critical.

My grandmother described this hurricane as one of the worst she's ever experienced in her entire life . My Grandfather is blind which makes him scared and vulnerable but he doesn't want to leave his surroundings that he is familiar with and feels comfortable moving around in.

Right now we don't know if the government will outlay any funds for the community housing repairs as yet they haven't discussed their plans to supporting the victims, partly because communications are down and its hard to reach all citizens

And also the destruction to St Vincent and the grenadines (especially the Southern Grenadines) is really bad .

I am trying my best to gather funds from friends and family with a £4000 target I'm hoping we can get him a new roof that can withstand any future hurricanes (hoping there aren't many like this).

Any additional funds will be used to help my friends who are affected in my local area in which I grew up .

As I’m not home to help and support

my grandparents physically the best next way of me supporting them is by using go fund me to help raise funds to cover cost of repairing and replacing what they lost in this horrible situation which was out of their control .
