Hey everyone! We’re reaching out for help for Vanessa who had a tragic accident a few weeks ago in Florida. She fell onto concrete from the second story (how is unknown) & subsequently sustained significant injuries including multiple broken bones, TBI & brain bleed which led to surgery and a lot of unknown.

Secondary to her injuries she now has a trach as well as a feeding tube and is sedated due to confusion and agitation.

She was transferred to an acute care “rehab hospital” only to develop a fever & increased swelling in her brain along with an infection. She is readmitted to the hospital & is to undergo a second brain surgery this week.

We want to get her back to New York once stable from surgery to where her family, especially her kids, can be with her during this challenging time. The medical bills are piling up as well as the costs to travel back and forth to Florida for her sisters, children & family.

They could use a hand also to cover the costs to bring her back home to NY via ALS transport ($15k+) where she can be closer to family & hopefully receive better care.
