On Decemeber 11th, 2025, my mother, Carmen Rubio, was detained by ICE agents in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is currently being held at a detention center, constanly fearing if she will be displaced into another facility somewhere she is unfamiliar with.

It has been incredibly hard without her for my little brother, myself, and our family. My little brother especially has been impacted by this as our mom was his primary caregiver and he just wants to be held by her again.

Since she was taken, it has been difficult to keep up with the expenses of her business that she was forced to abandon, as well as, the attorney fees, immigration fees, and unexpected costs of the situation. It's a heartbreaking, overwhelming experience and any help would be absolutely appreciated.

Su ausencia ha sido increiblemente difícil para mi hermanito, a mi misma, y para toda nuestra familia. A afectado a mi hermanito especialmente porque nuestra madre era su principal cuidadora y lo unico que desea es volver a estar con ella.

Desde su detencion, ha sido dificil mantener los gastos de su negocio, que estaba obligada a dejar atras, y tambien los cargos del abogado, las tarifas de inmigracion y los costos inesperados de esta situacion. Es una experiencia desgarradora y abrumadora, y cualquier ayuda seria enormemente apreciada.
