Dear Community, my name is Valery and I was an employee and friend of Bruce and Judy at Riverside Farm in East Hardwick, Vermont. We all know them well; they have become family to me and so many of us in the Hardwick Community--employees, friends, coop members, kids, foodshelf goers and more-- and have fed us through all the seasons. That's how they show love. Riverside Farm experienced a loss of a majority of their crops this week on the land they've farmed and shared with the community for over 30 years. Most importantly, their main crop field is now a pebble and stone filled river bottom, so rebuilding will take many years.

Now it's our turn to give the love back to Bruce and Judy: let's show them what our tiny (and wider) communities can do in times like these. Every little bit helps. Give what you can, share it with a neighbor or friend, far and wide. With all of the love and gratitude in our heart, thanks for keeping Riverside afloat.
