RiverCity Rock Star Academy Recovery

Please help us show our friends at RiverCity Rock Star Academy some love! On Saturday, September 11th, an electrical fire started in the RiverCity Rock Star Academy studio and spread throughout the ceiling. The Saturday Rockers were having their first rehearsal at the time and, luckily, everyone evacuated safely. The fire department arrived and put out the fire and saved a large majority of their gear, but unfortunately the entire building is out of power and suffered quite a bit of damage and they will have to vacate it for an unknown amount of time.

Insurance will cover most, but not all, of the damage. We have seen so many posts of support from the community, so we know that RiverCity Rock Star Academy means as much to many of you and your families as it does to ours. We were a part of the very first group at RiverCity's inauguration and so appreciate everything that Karen, Mark, Dani and their amazing staff have brought to Salem with their love and dedication.

Any money raised will bridge the gap between what insurance doesn't cover and if there is any remaining, it will go directly into the Salem Music Initiative, RiverCity Rock Star Academy's Scholarship Fund that transforms the lives of the Salem area community by providing access and support to music and music education programs.
