Hello my name is Jake Joffrion, 

local Resident and Business man in the Ascension Area.

This page is being set up to fund the River Highlands Road project in 

St. Amant LA. The road is privately owned by the HOA,therefore the Parish will not fix it. The HOA basically does not exist, Nor does anything in River Highland area to help. I am donating my machinery and labor to do a temporary fix to the dangerous potholes and road conditions. A permanent fix would cost substantially more.

Estimates are around $20-$50,000 and is not feasible at this time due to lack of funds in the HOA and donations.

The fix will include demo of current rock and broken cement thats broken, large base rock and crush concrete laid to compaction, and eventually asphalt if enough donations are received. We are going to try and fill in all potholes along the River Highlands road.

With the help of thees donations

from residents living on that

road, the businesses in rear, the condos and three islands neighborhood,we should be able to fix the problem. We ask that you Please help us by donating to this fund, to Have a better,more safe roadway for residents,and customers in the area.

The money will be used for materials/

fuel cost. The major area will be fixed first and small pot holes after. Fixes will be done according to how much money is donated.Anything left after the initial fixes will be used to tend to bad areas once per year to keep it up.

Unfortunately large garbage trucks come through the area daily and trucks delivering polls to the commercial lot in the rear of the road And this does tear up the the roads.

We are asking for minimum $100-$500.00 person to be donated, per year,but if you can donate more that would be great as well.
