Hello everyone. Recently, I was honored to be accepted into the Rites of Passage (ROP) a leadership program sponsored by Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Minneapolis Chapter. The experience is designed to help young African American males with programs focused on Leadership, Discovery, and Achievement. During the past couple of weeks, I have been taking part in these workshops, working with a mentor to further my goals, and learning from leaders in academics, public policy, business, and finance who offer unique lessons that will help transition into a man and prepare me for leadership in college and life.
Each initiate has decided to take up the challenge of raising funds. A portion of our funds will go towards UNCF Twin Cities, an organization of our choosing, who supports Historically Black Colleges, and helps thousands of students attend college. The remainder of profits will be used to support the Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Foundation and its philanthropic and community service projects. I would be beyond honored to have your assistance in reaching my goal of $900. You can support my effort by making a donation in one of two different ways.
1) DONATE any amount (recommended minimum $25)
2) Consider purchasing an advertisement - Every year a Souvenir Book is published with ads supporting the Initiates. Follow the attached link; https://www.ropmpls.org/souvenir-book-ad-form
to submit your ad, then DONATE on this GoFundMe site or follow instructions to send your check and ad file.
All donations will be managed by Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Minneapolis Chapter and distributed in accordance with its Rites of Passage program policies.
Thank you for your support, please stay safe, and have a blessed day,
Caleb J. Nixon
