Ciao sono Agnese e lavoro in Tanzania da più di 3 anni. L'associazione per cui lavoro si chiama Pamoya Onlus e da più di 20 anni sostiene due centri orfani e un ospedale nella regione di Njombe (www.pamoya-onlus.it).

Il centro orfani Tumaini si trova Ilunda, Njombe, che è una delle zone più fredde della Tanzania (si arriva fino a 0-5 gradi in inverno), ed è stato costruito 25 anni fa. Le casette in cui vivono i 55 bambini orfani di Ilunda, hanno bisogno di una bella ristrutturazione; le lamiere dei tetti ormai non tengono più l'acqua, i muri hanno bisogno di una rinfrescata e devono essere alzati, le porte e gli infissi in legno devono essere sostituiti con quelli in alluminio, ecc.

Per questo motivo vi chiedo di donare, quello che potete, per poter migliorare le condizioni in cui questi bambini, perchè tutti meritano una casa dignitosa in cui sentirsi al caldo e al sicuro.

Hi, I’m Agnese and I’ve been working in Tanzania for over 3 years. The organization I work for is called Pamoya Onlus, and for more than 20 years it has been supporting two orphan centers and a hospital in the Njombe region (www.pamoya-onlus.it). The Tumaini orphan center is located in Ilunda, Njombe, which is one of the coldest areas in Tanzania (temperatures can drop to 0–5°C in winter). The center was built 25 years ago. The small houses where the 55 orphaned children of Ilunda live are in need of major renovation: the metal roofing no longer keeps the rain out, the walls need fresh paint and must be raised, and the wooden doors and window frames should be replaced with aluminum ones, among other improvements. For this reason, I kindly ask you to donate whatever you can to help improve the living conditions of these children—because everyone deserves a decent home where they can feel warm and safe.
