Ripon Grammar School Charity Fundraiser in Support of MSF
Each year, the Ripon Grammar School community chooses a charity to raise money for, via the annual charity week and through other fundraising events throughout the year. We are proud of this year's choice, as voted by the Sixth Form, Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors without borders). MSF is a charitable organisation made up of medical professionals that provide medical aid to countries affected by conflict, epidemics and other humanitarian disasters. We support their values of impartiality, independence and neutrality as they provide help for those in need, based on medical ethics and sheer humanity.
As a sixth form, and ultimately as a whole school community, we are proud to be supporting such a global cause that many students feel passionately about, so we aim to raise as much money as we can to assist MSF. More importantly, the members of our school community are eager to educate themselves on the work that MSF does and the various contexts in which they are operating.
While most of the fundraising will come through donations in school, we welcome and will be incredibly grateful for, any online donations from members of the wider school community who share our passion for this worthy cause. We wish to maximise this opportunity and make a difference, every donation counts!
Thank you,
