Hi All,
Asking for some serious support for Barrett and Karlie Serrato, who’s beautiful 2-month old daughter, Ripken, was accidentally hit in the head by a foul ball on April 23rd while cheering on her Dad's college baseball team he coaches for. She’s currently in the ICU recovering from a skull fracture and brain bleeding that is continuing to cause seizures. While signs are limited, doctors are giving hope of a recovery in the long term. With that said, both Mom and Dad will be taking leave of absences to support her and her 2-year old sister for an uncertain period of time.
Because of that, we’ve been encouraged to start a GoFundMe and would be beyond grateful towards this network's support. You may not know myself or these individuals but I do know we've all had challenges to overcome and this appears to be a major one for Ripken as she starts her life. As we all know, a little goes a long way so just thank you for considering.
We appreciate you taking the time to read this so let’s work to get Ripken back to full health and on her path of becoming who she was meant to be.
