Keeping Our Small Town Vibrant

Here is our vision!

Want to join us in making a difference in a small riverfront town?  We're raising money to match funds for a grant  the city has obtained to erect shade covers in our Waterfront Promenade Park. Take a look at the photo below to see our vision.

Rio Vista is a rural Sacramento Delta town with a population of fewer than 10,000. The community pulled together, and managed to avoid bankruptcy during the Great Recession of 2008. Since then, the citizens have committed to help the city raise funds to revitalize our historic small town on the riverfront

Our Waterfront Promenade Park has large concrete pads (where businesses stood at the turn of the century) that could be utilized for outdoor concerts and community events. Several smaller areas have benches connected by a meandering sidewalk for walking, jogging, strolling or just sitting to enjoy the river.  All of this in a tranquil setting along the Sacramento River.  We are fundraising for shade covers for these pads and benches.  They will also add protection from UV damage to guests.

Please help us keep our small town alive and vibrant.

RioVision is a citizen driven non-profit working to bring about city wide revitalization.  Our goal Is a stronger, more vibrant Rio Vista.
