Breaking Barriers, One Frame at a Time!!!
- Help Riley Chase His Snooker Dreams.
Riley is a truly remarkable 14-year-old boy with a heart full of determination and a love for snooker that has taken everyone by surprise.
Life hasn’t been easy for Riley. He was born with three forms of epilepsy, suffering up to 18 seizures a day, and has spent much of his childhood in and out of hospital. These seizures have also left him with severe intellectual disability. Despite all these challenges, Riley never gives up.
In November 2023, Riley had a Vagus Nerve Stimulator (VNS) fitted — a treatment that has changed his world. Where he once endured daily seizures, he now has just one or two every couple of weeks. Though he still needs 24/7 care to keep him safe, this has given him the freedom to explore something new: snooker.
Riley first picked up a cue in February 2024 at a local junior snooker academy. What started as fun quickly turned into something extraordinary. A professional coach saw Riley play and was amazed by his natural talent. Over the summer, Riley trained 4–5 times a week, and with encouragement, he registered with the World Disability Billiards and Snooker Association.
In September 2025, Riley competed in his very first UK Championships — and shocked everyone by finishing with a world ranking of 17 0in disability snooker!
Now, Riley has been invited to represent and compete in upcoming tournaments in Walsall, Hull, Northampton, Carlow (Ireland), and Belgium. This is an incredible opportunity for him to keep growing, meeting others, and showing just how much he can achieve when given the chance.
But traveling and competing comes with costs — equipment, coaching, travel, and accommodation — which his family cannot always manage alone. That’s why we are reaching out for help.
Every donation, big or small, will go directly towards giving Riley the chance to follow his passion and prove that disability does not define what someone can achieve.
Riley’s journey is proof that with determination, love, and support, amazing things are possible.
