Hi, my name is Owen Nembhard (Matthew), and I live in Kelowna, BC, with my wife and our beautiful four-year-old daughter.
On July 14, 2023, I suffered a serious injury to my right wrist while working on a car at a local dealership. The injury caused vein damage, and since then, my hand has remained swollen and in constant pain. Despite seeing multiple doctors in both Kelowna and Vancouver, and trying several medications, nothing has worked. The pain impacts my ability to work, support my family, and carry out everyday tasks.
At first, I was receiving some support from WorkSafeBC, but those payments have now stopped. They are currently only covering medical expenses, leaving us struggling to cover basic living costs as I recover and continue seeking treatment.
I’m asking for your help so I can focus on healing without the added stress of financial hardship. Your donation, no matter how small, will go toward daily living expenses, medical travel, and anything my family needs while I’m unable to work.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can give. God bless you.
With gratitude,
Owen
