Hi my name is Lachlan Davis and on October 3rd I'll set off on my bike for 24 hours around Kin Kin to raise money for the Kin Kin State School P&C Association.

I've been cycling for nearly 20 years, and currently hold the Gympie-Brisbane and Gladstone-Rockhampton records. The course for this ride covers nearly 17km around the district, several kilometres being unsealed gravel. My target for the 24 hours is 30 laps for a total of over 500km.

With less than 50 students Kin Kin is a small school, and the P&C volunteers do an incredible job in providing opportunities for our local kids. From excursions to BBQs to providing equipment and classroom resources, every dollar the P&C raise goes into supporting our wonderful little school. As a lifetime local, I went to KKSS myself, my father once drove the school bus, and my own children are now part of the tight-knit school family.

Every dollar raised will go direct to the P&C so they can keep up their fantastic work.
