You may have seen this story on national news: 1,500 beagles were rescued from Ridglan Farms, a long-standing breeder of dogs for biomedical research. The facility housed thousands of beagles in windowless warehouses, often confined to stacked metal crates.
These dogs have never seen sunlight. They’ve never felt grass beneath their paws. Many have never experienced the simple comfort of being touched, loved, or cared for.
Thanks to the incredible work of animal rescuers, 1,500 of these beagles have now been saved. Dozens of rescue organizations across the country have come together to give them a second chance at life.
Many are arriving in New York, and AMA Animal Rescue is welcoming three of them today. We don’t yet know what emotional or medical challenges they may face, but we are committed to providing them with the highest level of care, patience, and love.
Please help us give these beagles the life they’ve always deserved. Donate today to support their medical treatment, rehabilitation, and journey to a forever home.
