Most of you who know me are aware of Clement, the Masai Samburu male I sponsored through high school and university for his nursing degree. We met when he was 12 years old during a medical mission in Kenya. Twelve years later, Clement will graduate with his degree. I've never been prouder. He doesn't want to work in Nairobi, but instead, has opted to return to his village, where there are no clinics or medical care. Clement has found work 4 hours away from his village, so I am asking for donations to get him a motorbike. The basic model, which would get him to and from work, costs $2900.
This is all about paying it forward. I was lucky enough to get help when I wanted to be a nurse. Now, after this, I told him it's his turn.
