The BIG RIDE - 1700 miles from Tulsa to New York

To celebrate my 60th journey around the Sun... and the joys life has given me... it felt time to honour the gifts of my time on this remarkable planet by fundrasing for the brilliant Black Leaders Detroit (BLD).

So I am riding a bicycle 1700 miles with my great friend Dwan Dandridge (Founder and CEO of BLD) from Tulsa, Oklahoma to New York... we set off on May 31 and arrive on July 4.

Black Leaders Detroit provides financial support for diverse social and community impact projects led by Detroiters of African descent.

Their remarkable work provides essential finances for Black entrepreneurs and businesses, building resilience and creating tangible change in communities who have traditionally been poorly served by banks and lenders. Every dollar makes a difference. I have donated significantly and seen the power of the work...
