Help Ricky Come Home and Continue Changing Lives

Hi, my name is Katrina, and I’m writing this with a heavy heart but a hopeful spirit. I’m asking for your help—not just for my husband, Ricky, but for the countless lives he’s touched and continues to inspire.

Ricky’s story isn’t one of perfection, but of redemption, faith, and unwavering dedication. At just 17 years old, Ricky made mistakes—ones that could have easily defined the rest of his life. But instead of allowing his past to become his identity, he chose a different path. He turned his life around in a way that few truly do.

Over the last decade, Ricky has become a pillar in our community in Washington State. He’s a master barber, a mentor to young men, and a living example that change is not only possible—it’s powerful. Through his work, he’s helped steer youth away from the streets and toward purpose. He’s the kind of man who shows up for others, even when no one showed up for him.

Ricky is also the visionary behind Washington’s first major Barber Expo—an event built to celebrate local talent, encourage entrepreneurship, and build a sense of pride in our community. He’s passionate about uplifting others, using his own journey as a blueprint for hope and transformation.

But now, he needs our help.

Ricky was recently taken into custody due to a probation violation connected to a case from when he was a teenager—something that happened over 10 years ago. He’s not the same person he was back then. He’s grown into a man of deep faith, humility, and service. This situation threatens not just his freedom, but the ongoing impact of the work he’s doing for others.

We’re raising funds to hire a strong legal team that can fight for fairness and give Ricky the chance he truly deserves. The legal costs are overwhelming for our family, but we believe in the power of community. We believe in Ricky’s right to move forward—not backward.

If you’ve ever believed in second chances, in the power of transformation, or in the importance of helping someone who’s always helped others—please consider donating. Every contribution, no matter the size, is a step toward bringing Ricky home.

From the bottom of our hearts—thank you for standing with us. Please share this campaign with your network. Let’s give Ricky the opportunity to keep being the light he is in this world.

With gratitude,
Katrina
