I am Beth Gosey. I am Richard Gosey's wife. He was a pretty famous guy in Charlotte because of his talent to do repairs on everything like no one else. Not to mention, he was an incredible man, husband, friend, father, and grandfather. He was a character and a nut job, so hilarious. I was his helper in every way. I loved him so much.

Since his passing, I have been struggling. We didn't have life insurance or any savings. We are raising our 8-year-old granddaughter. She is a joy. Violet is one of those kids that are fun to be around, never fussing or complaining.

I am asking for help in the form of money. If I can make it through the summer, I'll get a job when she goes back to school. I'm 62 years old, not washed up in any way. I just don't have daycare I can trust. Not until school starts in the fall.
