Dear Friends and Family,

My name is Hollie and crew, and we are reaching out on behalf of Frances and Oakley during this incredibly difficult time. After some unfortunate events, we are really hoping people find it within themselves to help. We are wanting to raise enough for all his children, expenses and a celebration of life, as they are what will keep Richards legacy alive. Now, Frances didn't want to ask for help—she's been trying to handle everything on her own—but as a close friend, I can see how much she and Oakley are struggling right now, and I felt compelled to reach out. Im not a very tech savvy individual by any means, so ofcourse I had the help from her with setting this up. Please don't feel obligated by the goal amount in place.

Since losing Richard, Frances has been navigating an overwhelming amount of loss and responsibility. She's currently in school with no income, her EI benefits have run out, and government funding is not accessible due to eligibility requirements. The financial burden has become crushing—she's left covering expenses that were meant for two incomes, including funeral and cremation costs, a truck payment that's far beyond what she can afford right now, along with all the household utilities and daily needs for her and Oakley.

While Frances is working on solutions like trading in the truck to reduce expenses, these things take time, and the bills don't stop. She needs help getting through the next month or so while she gets back on her feet. This includes being able to give Oakley a birthday party and provide for their basic needs during this transition.

Her parents have been wonderful and have helped as much as they can, but they've already done so much over the years. Frances and Oakley need our support now more than ever. Being a single mom while grieving and trying to stay afloat has been heartbreaking to watch, and I know this loss has affected all of us deeply.
