After a Successful campaign to raise money for food for local people in Bali who have lost their jobs in tourism due to the COVID-19 crisis (estimated 80% of population), we have created a Rice for Plastic initiative.
Working with Ocean Mimic and their Recycling & Sorting facility in Canggu. Local people are invited to collect and bring us a large bag of littered plastics to be recycled in exchange for 5kg of rice. The plastic is recycled into bricks, concrete, and other items.
The aim of our campaign is simple, help create a cleaner healthier plastic-free Bali, while continuing to support people who are struggling to feed their families due to the COVID-19 crisis.
Please support our work for the people and the environment, of the beautiful Bali we all
know and love!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts
