SkateTherapy is a therapeutic skating program that specifically caters to children with varying degrees of disabilities. This program has made a tremendous impact on its students and surrounding communities.
While the SkateTherapy program is entirely supported by volunteers, there are many costs that need to be covered, such as:
- Ice time
- Adaptive equipment
- Skates
- Therapeutic equipment
We sincerely request you to support Houston's disabled community by donating to this cause. You can also write a check directly to "STARSkaters" and request a company match, if your organization supports the same. All donations made are tax exempted under IRS 501c3 [EIN 26-1657556]. SkateTherapy.org (A program of STARskaters.org - A US Paralympic Sport Club of USA) is an IRS recognized Charity organization.
