Every year since Rhys passed away, myself and Rhys set ourselves a goal to do at least one thing within the year to raise money and give back to the incredible charities that supported Rhys and his family whilst he was battling cancer.

As many of you know, Rhys was one in one million and this is evident from the stories we know of him.

So this year we have both decided to push ourselves to compete in the London Landmark Half Marathon in order to raise some money for this amazing charity.

With the money donated, the charity will be able to support and help other families with children dealing with cancer.

My Shining Star helps support families across the UK who have been impacted by childhood cancer. They offer a wide variety of support and care such as emotional relief for families; financial aid; hospital travel expenses; specialist equipment and so much more.
