Hounslow Community Food Bank

Hi all. I’m looking to help raise funds for our local food bank as they are always struggling for sufficient supplies, and with all the government cuts and with them expecting people to survive lower than breadline, I would like to find a way where we can all do our small bit to help those less fortunate.

I’ve spoken with Hounslow Community Food Bank and they were overwhelmed by my suggestion and we are going to work together on this.

Im not asking for much as we are all feeling the squeeze. If you can spare £5 that would be amazing. This is the minimum donation.

Brentford and the surrounding areas has a fantastic community when we need to pull together and this is a time we need to. We shouldn’t have to do this but we’re being forced into these situations by the current government even more so than before!

When the target is reached I will be going shopping with someone from the centre so they can advise on what’s needed the most.
