Not really my strong suit. I'm usually a pretty solo figure-it-out or find-side-work type of guy. If y'all know me, you know this. I bust my ass for my family, and I give all I can to my friend and anyone in need. Unfortunately, on Sunday the 23rd, I was in a major car accident on the way to get food with a friend. Thankfully my son and wife wherent in the car with me, but My brakes locked up, and my vehicle went through an intersection. I had a head-on collision with a tree. I'm truly blessed and lucky to be alive, and it's made me extremely grateful to even be here to write this. Due to the accident, I was injured. I fractured my heel, and I'm in a cast/stint currently waiting to see a specialist. As most of you know, I do construction-based work, and not being able to walk kinda makes that useless. I had recently started a new job, so I have no saved PTO or vacay time. Main reason for this is to honestly just try and get a little help, pay a few bills, and buy some time till I'm able to limp around enough to return to work. Anything helps and is appreciated. I'm just trying to keep my household and family afloat until I know our next steps.
update* saw the specialist today. doctor is ordering more scans, but surgery will most likely be needed to fix my heel/foot In order to walk properly.
