Max in a million

Donation protected
Max has recently been diagnosed with a rare condition called Aplastic Anaemia, something which only one in a every one million people are diagnosed with.

Aplastic anaemia is a serious condition affecting the blood, where the bone marrow and stem cells do not produce enough blood cells. It is also called bone marrow failure, the best way of treating this condition is a bone marrow transplant which we are fortunate to have a perfect match in his mother.

Up until admission date we are currently visiting this hospital at a minimum of two time a week for platelets & blood transfusions.

Max will be admitted into the RVI transplant ward on the 9th December 2020, where we are going to based for a minimum of two months, he also needs to be shielded two weeks prior to admission.

As you can only imagine we are starting to worry about the financial implications that’s going to come from this as we are both going to be taking a considerable amount of time away from work (my partner already is & has been for a while) and we do have a brilliant support network around us.

ive received a few messages in the past week about how can people support us which is the reason why I’ve set up this page, and I just want to say a huge thank you anyone that supports us emotionally let alone financially.
