Hello everyone, I am reaching out on behalf of my brother Rey. Unfortunately, he slipped on black ice while taking out the trash. He sustained a stress fracture on the ball joint of his leg in the hip area, lower back pain, and a strained groin. He ended up in the hospital for 4 days. They sent him home, but he is unable to really walk without aid. He has a walker and wheelchair to help him. He is experiencing extreme pain and difficulty getting out of bed and standing. His job let him go and now he has no income to provide for the bare essentials (food, medication, toiletries). The healing takes around 2 months. He is diabetic and has high blood pressure, so these conditions can prolong the healing process. That is why I put this page together to ask family and friends if they could find it in their hearts to help support and keep Rey afloat in his time of need.
