Coming here is not a simple decision

I am here today to ask that as a community of people who loved and adored Rey as a friend, brother, and father please pay honor and respect to his family. I was blessed to have him with me these last 18 years. Our love was something beyond words, immeasurable and if anyone has experienced this in life, you all know how I hurt now. I’m lying beside his 10 year-old son as I write this. His words: but how can I go on without my dad? Our friends and extended families in the soccer and baseball communities will be called upon. The love and friendships Rey made with brothers in life have shined. I want to thank your families for allowing me and my children a circle of protection and support while Rey’s physical being is resting.

Our babies need support.

Rey is such a great father that I have faith he’ll make it happen, Rey Cantu! We are Cantus and if there is anything we could do will be to continue his legacy.

Justice can never be served because Reynaldo Cantu III is the strongest, most powerful human, most capable of anything, irreplaceable man. Retribution is in the hands of our Creator.
