Mercedes Marianna Vega. Lived in Tempe Arizona. I am her mamma. My beautiful baby girl was abducted from her from her parking garage in an upscale “considered safe” apartment in Tempe Arizona the late evening of April 16th 2023. She was attacked and taken by at least two people. She was hit over the head, shot and eventually left in a vehicle to burn alive. Bleach was found in her larynx. She was discovered by DPS near Tonapah AZ. Her vehicle a white 2019 dodge charger; Plate: LUV 333 was found near Mill Avenue by ASU. She was not burned in HER vehicle. Many people have contributed their time and money to help find the killer. We have been recently told that there will be a “silent witness” put out by MCSO yet the reward for any information leading to an arrest and conviction is only $2000. Her amazing friends have given funds to contribute to her celebration of life, although we have booked tickets with family and friends to spread my daughter’s ashes in Hawaii as she requested, after expense of having her cremated, paying off her vehicle and her outstanding expenses, the overwhelming financial support that we never expected has supported us through some of this. However, we are working with “Silent Witness of AZ. They are an entity that allows people to report anything that they know anonymously and still receive a payout, with no repercussion and that person will never be called to testify. We understand that sometimes people are put in a situation they didn’t expect, but we do know somehow, someone knows somebody who knows something. We want to increase motivation to finding Mercedes’ killer by raising additional funds to this amount No questions, no prosecution. If you are afraid to tell what you know, you DO NOT need to be identified. The money can even be put on a debit card you can buy at Frys, Walmart etc.! We want our daughters killer/killers to face justice. We don’t want this to EVER happen to anyone else’s child! If you cant afford to donate, please share!
