"Rebuilding the Lives of Israa and Khaled’s Family from Gaza: Survivors of the 2023 Genocide".

Hi world
Please read this as if I'm a member of your family . maybe your sister, daughter or a friend and as if my family who's under death now is yours.

Amidst the plight of over 2 million Palestinians in Gaza who faced displacement, fear, and destruction, our family was forcibly uprooted on the eve of the genocide in early October 2023.

We hurried to a coastal area, then directed by the military to flee south to Wadi Gaza with nothing but the clothes on our backs. Israa, Khaled, our son Elias, and daughter Ella left everything behind, settling in tents near Rafah for many grueling months.

We endured primitive living conditions in nylon tents that offered no protection from scorching summers or drenching rains, suffering from skin diseases without adequate medical care.

Cooking over open fires, sleeping on bare ground under the open sky, we faced death, bombings, and devastation from all sides.

This period continues to test us, unfamiliar with such hardship. Here are poignant snapshots of our life inside the displacement camps in southern Gaza.

The family of Israa (27) and Khaled (29) from Gaza, with their children Elias (6) and Ella (1.5) and their 10-day-old daughter Elaine, who was born prematurely, are facing the devastating impact of the Israeli war that began on 7 October 2023. Amid the chaos, they strive to rebuild their shattered lives.

The war that erupted in late 2023 claimed over 50,000 lives, left 10,000 missing, and caused over 4,000 horrific massacres, displacing 2 million people and destroying 160,000 homes in Gaza.
Israa and Khaled, and their children Elias, Ella, and Eileen, have been deeply affected and are struggling to rebuild amidst unimaginable loss.

During the war, Israa and Khaled lost their home and their business, the "Royal Store," which was destroyed in Gaza and Khan Younis.
Elias missed an entire school year, and Ella endured profound psychological trauma.
Eileen, born in a hospital amidst the war, had to leave and flee to a tent with her family, becoming a displaced person at just two days old.
Khaled’s health deteriorated due to continuous displacement, exacerbating his spinal condition.
Meanwhile, after giving birth, Israa is struggling with health and psychological issues due to a lack of medicine and proper nutrition.

The family now seeks your help to rebuild the lives of Israa, Khaled, and their children Elias, Ella, and Elaine

Together, we aim to raise funds to reconstruct their home and rebuild their business ravaged by the war.

We are committed to delivering an exceptional education for Elias, providing Ella with top-notch healthcare, and creating a nurturing environment for Eileen to thrive after the challenging circumstances of her birth.

Khaled eagerly awaits the opportunity to address his severe spinal pain. Your support will enable them to rebuild and thrive once again.

  • The Family
The family members, anticipating the return to their former lives, gaze hopefully beyond the adversity and destruction surrounding them.

Khaled, 29, holds a bachelor's degree from Al-Aqsa University and owns "Royal Store," specializing in marketing and investment. His passion lies in football and exploring natural landscapes.

Israa, 27, a businesswoman with a bachelor's degree from the Islamic University, supports Khaled in "Royal Store." She excels in art and enjoys creating unique sweets.

Their son Elias, 6, missed schooling due to the war but shows promise in cycling and dreams of a secure future.

Ella, 1.5 years old, endured displacement and tent life during the conflict. She learns to walk and speak amid challenging conditions, hoping for a safer environment to grow up in.

Baby Eileen, now just 10 days old, was born prematurely due to the war. She and her family were displaced when she was only two days old, on July 23, 2024, after the Israeli military ordered the evacuation of the Qarar area. Eileen is now the youngest displaced person.

With the war on Gaza nearing its 300th day, a newborn, fragile and early, came into the world; at merely two days old, she joined me in a forced exodus, her innocence juxtaposed against the backdrop of turmoil.

Now, this family of five urgently seeks support to rebuild their lives free from the scars of war and injustice, aiming to start anew in safety.

  • The Home
The home, our most cherished possession, lost tragically, now awaits swift reconstruction.

Situated in Gaza City, Al-Mashtal area, opposite the al fayruz Towers, just 200 meters from the Mediterranean Sea, property number 503 was purchased on January 24, 2023, from Khamees Dabban Investment Company for $42,900.
The house, adorned with decorations and furnished with items totaling over $34,000, stood as a beacon of comfort and security.

On a fateful evening, news on Al Jazeera shook us to the core, announcing violent strikes targeting the Firouz district and its surroundings.

The family woke to a heart-wrenching Facebook post by "Israel in Arabic," revealing the complete destruction of their newly acquired home, now occupied by Brigade 401's military presence.

The loss left their once thriving household reduced to rubble

Today, with their home lost, the family urges global supporters and donors to inscribe a new chapter in the annals of humanity. Your assistance is crucial in rebuilding their lives and restoring hope amidst adversity.

  • The Job
The family suffered a devastating loss with the destruction of their company's offices in Khan Younis and Gaza.

Founded in 2019 by Khaled and his wife, "Royal Store" was an online marketing company employing 60 staff nationwide.
The company's operational office in Gaza was rented at market value of $25.000, while the administrative office in Khan Younis cost $19,000, equipped with office supplies, computers, and furniture totaling $12,000.

On the third day of the war, October 10, the operational office was bombed, destroying all equipment and furnishings. Four months later, during the ground invasion of Khan Younis on February 14, 2024, the administrative headquarters was also demolished, leaving nothing behind.
Israa and Khaled lost their livelihood, alongside 60 employees.

With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of three team members: Hamza Hassan, Salah Hassan, and Bilal Al-Haddad, who had been part of our company since 2020.

We appeal to the humanitarian community for support to rebuild our company, providing employment opportunities for the remaining 57 staff now without jobs.
Your donations to reconstruct the company will be a lifeline for those left unemployed.

  • Khaled's health condition
Khaled urgently needs treatment for his spinal condition before it worsens.

Diagnosed with a spinal disc herniation in 2022, Khaled was preparing for treatment abroad before the recent Gaza war disrupted his plans.

Now, amidst frequent displacement and the overwhelming burdens of life, his pain has intensified. He desperately requires temporary travel for spinal surgery, especially as Gaza hospitals struggle to provide essential services due to intentional disruptions.

With a humane perspective, Khaled awaits crucial support, both financial and emotional, from the international community and supporters of the cause to gather the costs for his surgery and immediate treatment, given his role as the family's provider.
