Reviving dreams - Overcoming with Hieu

An einem schicksalhaften Abend des 6. Juli 2025 wurde unser geliebter Hieu, ein 27-jähriger junger Mann, von einem außer Kontrolle geratenen, rücksichtslosen Fahrer angefahren. Der Unfall in Frankfurt kostete zwei Zwillingsbrüder das Leben und veränderte Hieus Leben für immer. Er erlitt schwere Verletzungen, die zu einer traumatischen Hirnverletzung führten. Um sein Leben zu retten, musste sein rechtes Bein amputiert werden.

Vor wenigen Tagen kam seine Mutter aus Vietnam nach Deutschland, um bei ihrem Sohn zu sein und sich um ihn zu kümmern. Sie kam ohne Kenntnisse über das Land oder die Sprache und betrat eine fremde Welt voller Hindernisse. Die Suche nach einer Unterkunft in der Nähe des Krankenhauses war schwierig und das Pendeln durch die Stadt ist eine tägliche Herausforderung, die sie kaum versteht. Doch trotz dieser Hindernisse weigert sie sich, ihren Sohn damit allein zu lassen.

Für uns ist Hieu mehr als nur ein Unfallopfer. Im Frühjahr 2022 kam er mit Ehrgeiz, Hoffnung und dem tiefen Wunsch, seine Familie und Verwandten unterstützen zu können, nach Deutschland. Hieu lebt allein mit seiner Mutter, die diesen Schritt durch große finanzielle Anstrengungen ermöglicht hat – unterstützt durch ihre gemeinsame Hoffnung auf eine vielversprechende Zukunft.

Nach seinem Abschluss an einer medizinischen Universität in Vietnam wollte Hieu schon seit seiner Schulzeit Menschen in Not helfen, unabhängig davon, woher sie kommen. Deshalb hat er seine Leidenschaft und seinen Traum weiterverfolgt und in Deutschland Krankenpflege studiert. Er möchte ältere Menschen pflegen und auch diejenigen, die nach Operationen und schweren Traumata intensive Pflege benötigen. Dazu gehören beispielsweise Patienten, die im Koma liegen, auf mehrere Monitore angewiesen sind und rund um die Uhr überwacht werden müssen. Doch er hätte nie gedacht, dass er selbst einmal in diese Lage kommen würde.

Hieu ist als fröhlicher, energiegeladener und hilfsbereiter Mensch bekannt. Er ist ein pflichtbewusster Sohn, ein guter Freund und Kollege. Er ist immer da, um zuzuhören, sich auszutauschen und andere zu ermutigen, wenn diese in Schwierigkeiten sind. Unter dem Spitznamen „Bốp“ ist er auch auf TikTok aktiv und verbreitet mit dem Slogan „Du bist freundlich, du bist klug, du bist wichtig ♥“ positive Energie.

Hieu führte ein erfülltes Leben in Deutschland mit seinen Kollegen und Freunden. Er liebte Musik und Tanzen. Am Abend des 5. Juli besuchte er mit Freunden ein Konzert seines Lieblingskünstlers. Es war ein glücklicher Moment. Auf dem Heimweg – noch immer erfüllt von Musik und Freude – ereignete sich der schreckliche Unfall. Zwei Personen aus seiner Gruppe verloren auf dem Weg ins Krankenhaus ihr Leben, während Hieu sich noch immer in einem kritischen Zustand befindet.

Das gesammelte Geld wird für folgende Zwecke verwendet:

• Unterstützung für spezielle Therapien, Rehabilitation, psychologische Betreuung und medizinische Geräte, die möglicherweise nicht vollständig von der Versicherung übernommen werden.

• Kosten für die Anpassung der Wohnräume an die Bedürfnisse einer Person mit Behinderung, für die Langzeitpflege – möglicherweise lebenslange Pflege – oder zur Unterstützung der Familie bei der Rückkehr nach Vietnam und dem Neuanfang mit einem behinderten und traumatisierten Sohnes.

• Die täglichen Lebenshaltungskosten wie Lebensmittel, Kleidung, Hygieneartikel, Transport (öffentliche Verkehrsmittel o. Ä.) und Kommunikationsmittel für die Familie

• Die Flugkosten für Hieu und seine Mutter für die Reise zwischen Vietnam und Deutschland, die Gebühren für die Beantragung/Verlängerung des Visums sowie die Kosten für eine vorübergehende oder langfristige Unterkunft in der Nähe des Krankenhauses.

On a fateful evening on July 6, 2025, Hieu, our beloved 27-year-old young man, was hit by a car driven by a reckless, out-of-control driver. The crash in Frankfurt took the lives of two twin brothers, and changed Hieu's life forever, leaving him with severe injuries that resulted in a traumatic brain injury and the amputation of his right leg to save his life.

Just days ago, his mother arrived in Germany from Vietnam with a single wish: to be close to her son and take care of him. She came with no knowledge of the country or the language, stepping into an unfamiliar world filled with barriers. Finding a place to stay near the hospital has been a struggle, and commuting through the city is a daily challenge she barely understands. Yet, despite these obstacles, she refuses to let her son face this alone.

For us, Hieu is more than just a victim of an accident. In the spring of 2022, Hieu came to Germany with ambition, hope, and the deepest wish—to be able to support his family and relatives. Hieu lives alone with his mom, and she made this step possible through great financial effort, supported by their shared hope for a promising future.

Having graduated from a University of Medicine in Vietnam, Hieu has always wanted to take good care of people in need, no matter where they are from—even since high school. That’s why he continued to pursue his passion and dream by studying nursing in Germany, to care for elderly people and also those who require intensive care after surgery and severe trauma, such as patients who are in a coma and dependent on several monitors, with 24/7 supervision. Yet he never expected he would one day be in this condition himself.

Hieu is always known as a happy, energetic, and helpful person. He is a dutiful son to his family, a good friend and colleague, always there to listen, share, and encourage whenever someone is in trouble. He also has a TikTok account under the nickname “Bốp,” where he spreads positive energy to others with the slogan, “You are kind, you are smart, you are important ♥”

Hieu was having a fulfilling life in Germany – the country, his colleagues, and friends. He loves music and dancing. On the evening of July 5th, he attended a concert by his favorite artist with friends. It was a moment full of happiness. On their way home—still filled with music and joy—the terrible accident happened. Two people from his group lost their lives on the way to the hospital, while Hieu is still in serious condition.

The money raised will be used to:

Cover the cost of airfare for Hieu and his mother to travel between Vietnam and Germany, visa application/extension fees, as well as temporary or long-term accommodation costs near the hospital.

Cover daily living expenses such as food, clothing, personal hygiene items, transportation (public transport or …), and necessary communication needs for the family in a new country.

Support special therapies, rehabilitation, psychological support, and medical equipment that insurance may not fully cover.

Costs for modifying the living space to accommodate a person with disabilities, long-term care needs — possibly lifelong disability care — or to support the family in returning to Vietnam and rebuilding their lives if necessary

Cushioning the long-term loss of financial support that Hieu used to send to his family each month

Vào một buổi tối định mệnh ngày 06.07.2025, Hiếu , chàng trai trẻ 27 tuổi mà chúng tôi hết mực yêu thương, đã bị một chiếc xe ô tô do một tài xế liều lĩnh, mất kiểm soát điều khiển tông trúng tại thành phố Frankfurt. Tai nạn bất ngờ khiến 2 người bạn của Hiếu không qua khỏi. Hiếu vẫn đang trong tình trạng nguy kịch, bị chấn thương nghiêm trọng dẫn đến chấn thương sọ não và phần chân phải đã bị đứt lìa trong vụ tai nạn. Cuộc đời em phải sống trong thương tật mãi mãi.

Chỉ vài ngày trước, mẹ của Hiếu vừa đặt chân đến Đức từ Việt Nam với một ước nguyện duy nhất: được ở gần và chăm sóc con trai mình. Bác đến với hành trang là sự bỡ ngỡ trước một đất nước xa lạ, không biết tiếng, phải đối mặt với muôn vàn rào cản. Việc tìm chỗ ở gần bệnh viện cũng vô cùng khó khăn, di chuyển trong thành phố mỗi ngày là thử thách mà bà gần như không hiểu gì. Thế nhưng, bất chấp mọi trở ngại ấy, bác vẫn quyết không để con trai mình đơn độc vượt qua biến cố này.

Với chúng tôi, Hiếu không chỉ là nạn nhân của một vụ tai nạn. Mùa xuân năm 2022, Hiếu đến Đức mang theo khát vọng, hy vọng và mong ước lớn nhất – được hỗ trợ gia đình, người thân. Hiếu chỉ sống cùng mẹ, và chính mẹ em đã hy sinh rất nhiều về vật chất lẫn tinh thần để em có thể đặt chân đến miền đất mới, nuôi hy vọng về một tương lai tươi sáng.

Tốt nghiệp đại học ngành Y học xét nghiệm tại Việt Nam, ngay từ thời phổ thông, Hiếu luôn mong muốn được chăm sóc những người cần giúp đỡ, dù họ là ai hay ở đâu. Đó cũng là lý do Hiếu tiếp tục theo đuổi đam mê và ước mơ của mình bằng cách học ngành điều dưỡng tại Đức, để chăm sóc người cao tuổi cũng như những bệnh nhân cần chăm sóc đặc biệt sau phẫu thuật hoặc chấn thương nặng, ví dụ như những người đang hôn mê phải phụ thuộc vào các thiết bị giám sát và được chăm sóc 24/7. Thế nhưng, Hiếu chưa từng nghĩ có ngày chính mình lại rơi vào hoàn cảnh này.

Hiếu luôn được biết đến là một người vui vẻ, năng động và luôn sẵn lòng giúp đỡ mọi người. Em là người con hiếu thảo với mẹ, là người bạn, đồng nghiệp tốt bụng, luôn lắng nghe, chia sẻ và động viên khi ai đó gặp khó khăn. Nhiều người biết đến Hiếu trên TikTok biệt danh “Bốp”, nơi em truyền năng lượng tích cực đến mọi người với câu slogan: “You are kind, you are smart, you are important ♥”.

Hiếu từng có một cuộc sống trọn vẹn tại Đức – đất nước, đồng nghiệp, bạn bè đều yêu quý em. Hiếu rất yêu âm nhạc, vào tối ngày 5 tháng 7 năm 2025, Hiếu đã cùng bạn bè đi xem buổi hòa nhạc của nghệ sĩ yêu thích. Đó là khoảnh khắc đầy hạnh phúc. Nhưng trên đường về nhà – khi mọi người vẫn còn ngập tràn niềm vui và âm nhạc – tai nạn kinh hoàng đã xảy ra. Hai người trong nhóm bạn của Hiếu đã ra đi trên đường tới bệnh viện, còn Hiếu vẫn đang trong tình trạng nguy kịch.
