Dear community, family, and lovers of sound,
This is a message we never thought we’d have to write.
Just three weeks before our long-awaited season opening, our beloved club caught fire. Thankfully, no one was inside, and for that, we are deeply grateful. But the damage left behind has shaken us to our core.
If you’ve ever danced with us…
If you’ve ever felt the pulse of the bass under your feet hearing the waves roar outside, splashing on to the windows or shared a sunrise moment surrounded by strangers who became family…
Then you know: this space is more than just a venue. It’s a living, breathing heartbeat of the culture we all cherish.
We are reaching out; humbly and with hearts wide open, to ask for your support in helping us rebuild.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will carry us closer to re-opening our doors.
If you can’t support financially, your voice, your time, your ideas, your love — all are just as valuable. Please, reach out.
Honestly, it would have never been possible without you freaks! We’ve shared unforgettable nights in this little paradise, and those memories are giving us the strength to rebuild something even more magical than before.
The damage is real. It’s severe. But it could’ve been worse — and we are still here. Our goal?
To open as planned on November 1st.
Some may call that crazy. But to that we say: Why not?
What the fire took from us:
Full rack for the sound system (DSP, amplifier)
Entire electrical installation — completely burned
The roof
Air conditioning
Power sockets
Other losses and damage:
One of our four windows (broken during forced entry to fight the fire)
190 meters of 4-core 25mm cable (a huge cost)
Soundproofing
Flooring
Internal cabling
We’re not just trying to fix what was. We’re rebuilding something deeper — a symbol of resilience, community, and the pure joy of coming together.
With your help, we’ll bring the fire back where it belongs — on the dancefloor.
With love, hope, and beats yet to come,
The why?not family
