Revive The YOC

I took over as the Executive Director of the YOC January 1, 2020. Spring Break was going to be our youth program launch, but unfortunately we had to suspend it. We have applied for numerous grants which have all been denied. I know we all have been affected by this epidemic, but I really need my community to come thru and help us restore our beloved YOC. So many kids and adults have benefited over the years from the programs we have offered. We have struggled for the past couple of years with keeping the doors open. We can not loose another one of our businesses. The roof is in dire need of repair. The air conditioners need to be replaced.  All the attempts to repair it have failed. It is in need of a complete new roof. I have come out of pocket all year trying to bring different events and programs despite the leaks and lack of air conditioning. We are use to having to work with what little we have. We can not offer all the fancy options the YMCA or the Boys Club has to offer, but we have as much drive and love and persistence as any of them to revive our center. We are launching numerous fundraisers all summer long. Any donation over $100 will receive a free personalized brick (one of our fundraisers).
