The community pickleball courts at JJ Walker Park need some love - let’s rally together to make it happen!
These free community courts are the gathering place for players of all levels in the West Village in the heart of NYC. While their popularity within the community is to be celebrated, the wear is setting in.
Cracks, worn patches, and rough surfaces have made playing harder (and honestly, a little sketchy at times). Unfortunately the City isn't going to fix them anytime soon.
We're looking for your help to fund targeted repairs: patching the worst cracks and giving the surfaces a fresh repaint so we can all get back to playing our best. A licensed, insured contractor will handle the work, so it'll be done right.

The fine print:
Funds raised in this Gofundme will be used at organizer discretion with the best interest of the community in mind, prioritizing court playability first and appearance second. Excess funds will be spent on the community, or refunded where practical.

We will raise sufficient funding to use this specialized non-slip paint if players are able to donate according to this formula: $10/use/year or if everyone contributes a little something where they can! All donations will be greatly appreciated.
