We are a group of dedicated volunteers working to reopen the beloved Revesby Community Op Shop (ReCOS) after the closure of the Revesby BEHHA Op Shop in June 2024. Our shop was a vital Community hub, providing affordable goods and a welcoming space for all.
Why we need your help: The community's overwhelming support has motivated us to relaunch u der a new name, ReCOS. To reopen, we need to raise $10,000 for initial setup costs, including:
* Rent and bond
* Shop fit-out
* Shop signage
* Insurance, legal and accounting advice
Our vision: ReCOS will continue to be an inclusive space, fostering a sense of belonging and providing social interaction for those in need. Once operational, we aim to be self-sufficient and supporting local groups.
