Reuniting with my Biological Family

Introduction:
Hello! My name is Marie. I am a devout mother of two and work hard at two jobs to support our household. The past few years have been really hard on my family, and now I am trying to raise some money to have a fresh start with my newly found family in Upstate New York. Please take a moment to read my story and consider giving to us to help me get my family on our way.
Background:
As a newborn, I was adopted by the loving couple I would come to know as my parents. Tragically, when I was four years old, my adoptive mother lost her battle with cancer at the age of 37. My father was a police officer and Vietnam vet who worked hard to raise me on his own. Shortly after Christmas, 2011, I had to make the impossible decision to take him off of life support. This was devastating, and I felt that besides my children, I was alone in the world.
However, this past August, a miracle happened that led me to reconnect with my biological family and I feel that my life has been changed forever. In September, my kids and I went to NY where they live, to meet them and were overwhelmed with how incredibly loving and supportive they are. Shortly after, my biological father and I came to the decision that my children and I would move to NY.
As excited as we are to have made this plan, there is quite a bit that needs to be taken care of before we leave Virginia and are able to join our huge, happy family. We would be overjoyed to be moved to our new home by Christmas, as the past few holidays have not been the happiest. I also had to submit a 90 day resignation at my work so I will be out of a job in Virginia after December 16th.
My plea:
This is where you, friends, family, and strangers, come in. We would like to ask for some help in raising some money to help with the expense of moving our family and home to another state. Please help me provide my family with a new lease on life. We will be incredibly grateful for any contribution, and every little bit would help. I truly appreciate you taking the time to read my story of hope, and hope that it touched your heart in some way.
