Hello, I am Courtney. You all know my partner as Keen.Justine - but to me she’s just Justine. ❤️ I have watched my partner fight this long nasty legal battle, mostly alone, mostly terrified, and with very little money.

Justine is usually the first person to offer help but always the last person to ask for it. Which is why I decided to make the gofundme fundraiser for her.

These funds will be used to retain an attorney to modify parenting time between Justine & her child.

Any remaining $ we’d like to use to buy our oldest son an oculus. A reward for his being loving, selfless, & in assisting financially to aid his brother.

9/6/2022 Update

After a lot of hesitation and many discussions, I have decided to raise the fundraising goal for a few reasons. The first is that many tens of thousands of dollars have already been spent on this battle. The reason Justine was without counsel was that we were no longer able to afford the ever rising legal fees. We learned recently that abusive people use the court system as a weapon in these types of battles. It's called "financial abuse". Justine has had the ability to fight back only because of you after being taken out of the ring for almost an entire year.

The second reason is that there are conversations taking place regarding Atticus getting his own attorney if he is not otherwise provided one.

Justine worries that her followers will see her as greedy or as ungrateful. I assured her that I would be the one explaining on her behalf. I have assured her that her army of love is behind her and our son.

We have been able to retain counsel and that is amazing. That was all we had hoped for. But we are leaving the door open for continued messages of love and support.
