Reuniting Beth and Jeremiah: A Mim's Love

Donation protected
Many of you know the struggle I've endured with my son Jeremiah, but for those that might see this and not know let me introduce myself. My name is Beth and I have raised my son Jeremiah his whole life. I met his mother when he was in her belly, I was there since the first detection of his heart beat, and since that moment he has been mine. Myself and his mother although we did not stay together raised Jeremiah for the first 10 years of his life. I have never missed a birthday, never missed a first day of school, never missed a Christmas! He spent his summers and winter breaks with me. I watched his first words, first steps, I taught him to ride a bike, to skateboard, to snowboard, to swim. 2 years ago he was placed with his biological father who had abandoned him for all those years, due to unfortunate circumstances with his mother. I tried to continue to maintain a positive relationship with the father until about 6 months ago when he decided he no longer wanted me in my son's life. These last 6 months have been the heaviest months of my life. Because I have no biological ties, and never legally adopted him, I technically have no legal rights to him at this time. I have retained a lawyer who is fighting to get me 3rd party parental rights in California. Jeremiah is my heart and soul, he is loved by not only myself, but an army of aunties and uncles, cousins, grandparents, step parents and brothers that were there to raise him while this man who has now taken him from all of us couldn't of cared less about him. I have already paid $7,000 to my lawyer, but this is a unique legal fight that has not been heard often in the courts. I'm asking from the bottom of my heart for help with the continuing legal fees that will come with this journey to reunite Jeremiah with the family that choose him when nobody else wanted to. I humbly request help, I humbly ask you to share this post in hopes it will reach hearts that will want to help. If you know me, asking for help is not an easy thing for me, but I can not live life without the child that gave me one! Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you if you find it in your heart to donate!
