Reuniting a Military Family

Hello Friends and Family! I have been thinking about posting for many weeks now. So here it goes.

I could use some help from all of you! I have shared many stories about my granddaughter, and she is very important to us. My daughter is currently in the United States Air Force and she had been stationed here in Omaha, Nebraska up until this last July, when she was transferred to San Antonio, Texas.

With that happening, she has to go to court and fight for custody of her daughter due to leaving the state, regardless of her military orders. This has resulted in a substantial amount of legal fees being incurred. She has spent well over $25,000 already in the last few months. She has taken out loans, drained her savings account and maxed her credit cards. She is running out of options.

Jay and I have helped where we can and have been very supportive of her through all these challenges, financially and mentally.

I want to keep this a positive post, so I do not want to be negative about the other party involved in this matter but to those who talk to me frequently know that my granddaughter is struggling mentally and really needs her Mother.

My daughter is a single mother of two on a limited budget, being in the military. So I am trying to do everything in my power to help her win this battle by raising some money for her. All money collected will go to fight for my granddaughter's legal fees!!

My granddaughter needs to be in Texas with her mother and little brother! This has been so emotionally challenging on everyone involved, but she shouldn’t lose her daughter just because she doesn’t have as much money. Everyone deserves a fighting chance and my granddaughter should be with her mother and little brother, who she loves so much!
