Help Reunite Four Orphaned Nephews Beaten in Uganda Refugee Camp with Relatives in U.S.

This campaign is to help Moise and Rebecca Kakule's four orphaned nephews reunite with them, their only living relatives. The boys were badly beaten and had no food nor water for two days the end of January 2017 in Uganda.  The youngest, who is 8, remains in the hospital until the $300 bill is paid.

The one on the right is 8-year-old Geremie in front of the hospital. He could not talk when they took him to the hospital. Now he asks for food. He is hungry. His brothers must go find food for him.

Here are the four nephews: Fabrice Mabuke, 18, top middle; Jerkise Mabuke, 16, back left; Geremie, 8, is asleep; Mitera, 10, on the right.

In the words of Rebecca Kukule, their aunt/adoptive mother:

"My husband and I need to bring them to United States, now! to save their lives. We are their only family. Two years ago we were sponsored to San Diego, CA. We had to leave our nephews in Uganda refugee camp. We had cared for them as if they were our boys. Their parents (my husband's brother and sister-in-law) were murdered in the Congo when the youngest boy was 1 year old. We are here in San Diego and don't have the money to send for them, so we are asking for help. Whoever reads this, if you have money to help us get them here, please fund us. If you leave your remarks and encourage others you know of doing the same, we are most grateful to you. Thank you all for reading this."

This is the Kakule family in San Diego, California.
Christine, 10; Shekina, 8; Moise (Father); Gentil, 11; baby Anastasia (18 mo.); Rebecca (Mother); Synthia, 4 with crown and curtsy. Sister Price and Sister Patterson are on the ends.

$700 for 4 months of food and phone cards for nephews to communicate with their family in SD. (We anticipate it will be a few more months to get them to the U.S.)-- still using this.

$1000 for fees to leave refugee camp -
THIS GOAL IS DONE.  THANK YOU  :)
The inventory of refugees (55,000) is complete and the office is open again. All of the funding to start process here has been sent.

$1000 is needed to keep them safe, for English Classes untill they come here, and Go Fund Me fees,  $400 has been raised. We need $500 more to complete the campaign. You have been most generous. Just a little more is needed.  Thank you so much.

NOTE FROM THE ORGANIZER: I am Roberta Seno, the Kukule's adoptive grandmother (or "tate" (tah-tay) in Swahili) in San Diego. I teach them English and reading and help the kids with their homework and help them to become self-reliant. I love this family and want to see them reunited. These boys are in great danger and are missed and prayed for every day, so that is why I started this campaign to help.

May God bless us all,
Roberta ("Tate")
