Who this will benefit
Help our family to be whole again after thirteen years.
We (Francisca and Artemis) came to America with our father in January of 2003. Our mother stayed behind hoping to come later and politically that became impossible. Now she has a visa, and we need to get her out quickly. We want her to be in America and living with her husband by the time he gets out of physical rehab. We hope for this transition to be as smooth as possible for our parents.
How funds will be used
Funds will mostly help to pay for the transportation and then for a whole variety of fees that have been necessary to make this happen.
How soon funds are needed
By February 28, 2017. This will give us enough time to buy the plane ticket and pay the other fees before her visa expires.

We have been carrying this load alone for such a long time and your support means a lot to us.
Francisca and I have been without our biological mother for over thirteen years. We are thrilled with the idea of being reunited in person. Our dad can hardly believe that this is going to happen
