Hello everyone I am reaching out in hopes of gaining support from my friends, family, and community to collect funds for my uncle’s legal services as he is currently being detaining by ice. In the morning of June 9, 2025 ice detained my uncle at Home Depot in Huntington Park CA, where he regularly goes to seek work. My uncle is a very hardworking man that always worked hard to provide for his family. He is a friendly compassionate man that’s is always willing to help anyone in need. It deeply saddens my family and I that he is currently going through this process. We were recently able to locate him and have looked into lawyers that can help him. As he is the sole provider of his family, we were hoping to reach out to those around us to help raise funds for his legal aid to see if we can stop the deportation process. We deeply appreciate any help whether it’s a repost or a donation. We hope that we are able to reconnect with my uncle and are able to get him out of the detention center as soon as possible.
