I’m reaching out to ask for your support in helping reunite my family in a way that means the world to us.

My mom has been trying to come here from Africa for 2 years. She was supposed to be by my side for the birth of my son, but because of delays, she wasn’t able to make it. Now my little boy is almost 2 years old, and he’s never met his grandmother. I also haven’t seen my mom in 16 years, that’s a significant life missed.

We’re raising funds to cover the administrative fees and living expenses that will allow her to finally make the move and stay with us as our main childcare. Having her here will not only give our son the chance to know his grandmother, but it will also allow me to keep working and providing for our family while knowing he’s cared for by the person who raised me with so much love.

This campaign will cover:

• Travel expenses

• Living costs while we sort through her paperwork and get everything in place
