We need your help to get two children from Honduras out of immigration detention and reunited with their mother Mirna. #NoKidsInCages

Mirna traveled north through Mexico with the migrant exodus in the fall of 2018. Mirna was forced to flee because of life-threatening domestic violence. Her speaker strapped to back, she sang songs of hope, sadness and protest to keep up the spirits of her fellow travelers along the way. Mirna is a fighter and now she needs help from our community to fight for her family.
Her two boys made the dangerous and hard journey north to escape an abusive father and reunite with their mother after 6 years of being separated.
Now they are being held in immigrant detention and we have the opportunity to help free them and reunite their family
Like way too many Mirna is out of work because of COVID and can use a hand to help make sure her boys can come home to her.
Donations will go toward two plane tickets for her two kids to fly from Texas to their new home when they are released and resources to support them with housing, food and legal fees.
Ingrid Chapman, who is hosting this GoFundMe will be withdrawing the fund and delivering them to Mirna and the detention center for the release of her children.

Mirna viajó hacia el norte a través de México con el éxodo de migrantes en el otoño de 2018. Mirna se vio obligada a huir debido a la violencia doméstica que amenazaba su vida. Con su altavoz abrochado a la espalda, cantó canciones de esperanza, tristeza y protesta para mantener el ánimo de sus compañeros de viaje en el camino. Mirna es una luchadora y ahora necesita ayuda de nuestra comunidad para luchar por su familia.
