Reunite KAI and MAZE with their parents

HI, my name is Jennifer and I am fundraising for Maze, Kai, Emily, and Armanii. Kai was born with a combined complication from covid and fetal growth restriction which has resulted in a rare bone disease that has caused developmental delays in his bone growth. It was found at 7 weeks old that he had multiple fractures. The children were taken from their parents because they were accused of abuse. After traveling to multiple appointments out of state it was discovered that these fractures "more than likely occurred during the delivery". There have been multiple studies that have linked covid to bone health and developmental delays in infants if the mother had covid in the 3rd trimester of pregnancy (Emily unfortunately suffered from covid during the 3rd trimester). When he was in the hospital he had an eye exam and head CT that came back clear which goes against the claims of abuse and Kai's blood work from 7 weeks old to now continues to show abnormalities with his bone marrow, consistent with this rare disease. Unfortunately, CPS and the Saginaw County Prosecutor are continuing to proceed with keeping the children placed in foster care and are taking Emily and Armanii to trial to have parental rights removed indefinitely. This has not only caused emotional trauma to the children and parents, but also has brought on a financial burden for them as well because of the cost of lawyers and travel to expert physicians to get Kai the care he needs. Any help you can give to Emily and her family to help cover the cost of legal fees to get her children back is greatly appreciated.
