Please consider helping a local Mokena family!

Danny Suarez has been living in the United States since he was 2 months old (for the past 29 years). Unfortunately, he ran into financial hardship in the past and was not able to afford to renew his DACA status. Danny is a loving partner to Laura Teggelaar and father to a wonderful little 4-year-old. He is the primary financial provider of the family, too. Recently, while his partner, Laura, was driving him to work, immigration agents pulled them over. Danny has never been convicted of a crime, and the agents were unable to produce a warrant signed by a judge. They threatened to break the windows of the car with his little girl inside. In order to keep his family safe, he had to comply.

Laura quickly secured an immigration lawyer but needs help with fees and any necessary costs, bonds, and living expenses. Laura has had limited conversations with him and he was sent to Texas. Recently, she was told he would be sent to a closer facility so he can hopefully go before a judge in Chicago in early December.
