Help Five Resilient Children Find a Safe Home Again ❤️

Hi everyone,

I’m here asking for help for five incredible children who have already endured more loss and hardship than any child ever should.

Salma (17, currently pregnant), Taimo (15), Hanio (13), Aqira (9), and Machky (6) have been through unimaginable trauma over the last few years. Their lives were first turned upside down when they were displaced by the devastating Paradise, CA fire. Not long after, they suffered an even greater loss — the passing of their father, Christopher Williams.

Christopher was a kind, selfless man who gave to anyone in need. He was their protector, their stability, and their safe place. When he passed, these children lost not only their father but their sense of security, their home, and the life they once knew.

Since then, their mother has been struggling to keep everything together. The past year has been especially difficult — the children have been forced to live separately, wherever someone could temporarily take them in. No child should ever have to live apart from their siblings, especially while grieving.

Despite everything, these kids are strong, loving, and incredibly resilient. They deserve a chance to heal — together.

How You Can Help

We have found a landlord willing to give them a chance at a home, but we need your help to make it happen.

Here’s what is needed:

$2,000 – Security deposit

$2,000/month rent

$3,000 – Past balance required so their mother can qualify for rental assistance

The good news is their mother has been approved for a program that will cover 2/3 of the monthly rent — but she must first clear her outstanding balance to qualify.

Our Goal: $10,000

This will allow us to:

Secure the home (deposit + first month’s rent)

Pay off the previous balance so assistance can begin

Provide basic necessities for the children (food, clothing, essentials)
