Isha & Alex welcomed baby Elliott into the world January 6th, 2020. A few months later the COVID-19 pandemic hit, separating the family across the US-Canadian border. Restrictions limit Alex from visiting due to a mandatory 14 day quarantine after crossing into Canada. Alex is unable to take time off of work due to the financial commitment of supporting himself and Elliott.
Though the family has been able to stay connected virtually, Alex has only seen Elliott for a couple days in June since the beginning of the pandemic. Now nearly 11 months old, Elliott is taking his first steps and has begun to say his first words. The love Alex holds for his son is immense, and it has been heartbreaking to know Alex is unable to see Elliott and experience these firsts with him.
We have created this GoFundMe to raise the money Alex will need to pay his bills and support himself and his son during the time he will spend in Canada.
