Hi, I'm Moz, many of you hopefully know me, and know this isn't something I would enter in to lightly.

Someone i know, and her son have suffered mental abuse from their partner for a number of years.

She managed to get away from him and take her boy with her, but with the help of his parents, the abuser managed to get a court order forcing her to return the boy to him.

Despite all the social services being aware of his abuse, apparently the court order can't be broken.

She is now living in an undisclosed place of safety while trying to get herself back on her feet.

Trying to get legal aid for a family issue seems extremely hard and those that will, are dragging their heels.

I'd like to raise some funds to get her a decent lawyer to help get them both away from the abuser, and be able to live without the fear of him in their lives.

Obviously as this is an ongoing issue I can't tell you who this is, but after it's all sorted you will all receive a picture of mother and son happy together again.

Ok guys, I thought I'd share a little update on the thing I've set up this Go Fund Me thing for. Thanks so much to everyone who has donated and shred, it really means a lot, and you will all get thanked personally once it's sorted.

The funds so far have enabled them to get a solicitor to help get things in order to be presented, but its just the start of things.

Also the local MP has taken an interest, and although they can't get involved until this case is settled, it does mean going forward that hopefully this kind of injustice won't be repeated.

The solicitor has taken the 1st £1000 for just 2 hours work!
